100 Black Men of Central Ohio (100BMCO) Awards & Pinning Ceremony Fundraiser 2026

Our Awards Ceremony will recognize four distinguished African American men whose extraordinary commitment to service, economic empowerment, mentorship, and leadership has made a lasting impact throughout Central Ohio. These remarkable leaders have dedicated their lives to strengthening our communities, creating opportunities for others, and serving as examples of excellence and servant leadership.
Under the theme, “Honoring the Past, Empowering the Present, and Preparing the Future,” we will present the following distinguished awards:
- Senator Hearcel Craig Service Award – Honoring an individual whose lifelong commitment to service, advocacy, and community leadership has positively impacted the lives of countless individuals.
- Mayor Michael B. Coleman Community Leadership Award – Recognizing an outstanding leader whose vision, collaboration, and dedication have strengthened neighborhoods and inspired meaningful community change.
- Adam Troy Economic Empowerment Award – Celebrating an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing economic opportunity, entrepreneurship, financial empowerment, and pathways to generational wealth.
- Otto Beatty Jr. 100BMCO Member of the Year Award – This award will be presented annually to one member of the 100 Black Men of Central Ohio who best exemplifies the qualities that defined Mr. Beatty’s life: character, integrity, servant leadership, unwavering commitment to community, mentorship, and a genuine love for helping others.
These awards are more than recognitions—they are a celebration of men who have answered the call to serve, lead with integrity, and invest in the future of our communities. Their work reflects the values of the 100 Black Men of Central Ohio and serves as an inspiration to the next generation of leaders.
